India - Indian visits to Sweden

After my return from India in -69 the first musicians to visit were my tabla/pakhawaj guru Pandit Taranath and Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar, the great beenkar who dropped by on the way back from their first visit to the United States where they had been teaching at Wesleyan. They did TV, radio and a private concert in Stockholm but also found time for a visit to Skansen and a game of krocket.

December 2010: Gurubhandu Sadanand Naimpalli gave a concert in Stockholm w flutist Nityanand Haldipur.

Pandit Nityanand Haldipur, who played in Stockholm w Pandit Sadanand Naimpalli in december 2010 has recieved the Sangit Natak Academy Award.
