At 65 you get a pension in Sweden.

For a freelancing musician that means that now you really have to start working since you have so little regular income during the years that your pension will be very small. On the last day of august this occured for me.
On the very same day some other swedish musicians also had their birthday so we decided to have a Birthday Band and play and have a party at Glenn Miller Café that very day.And so we did.
Apart from me Dror Feiler turned 56, Max Schultz turned 47, Daniel Karlsson 34 and Buba, the scatsinger also 34.
Unfortunately Dror Feiler and Buba were forced to cancel because of work abroad, so instead we invited Mats Öberg to play the bass for us on his Moog.
We celebrated and played all night and had a terrific time. Too bad you weren't there.

Next year we plan a birthday festival and their are rumours about a woman saxophonist, but where are the bass players born on august 31?
